An exhibition of new work inspired by the remarkable Peggy Angus (1904-1993), British designer, teacher and painter. Including, hand-blocked wallpapers, chosen from Peggy’s archive, and made by her family. This exclusive collection will be available to order.  Alongside, will be new pieces from Aude van Ryn, Alex Sickling, Jo Waterhouse and Laura Carlin. Explore the illustrator’s imagination and how they imbue our homes with stories and joyful gestures through the objects they create.

The exhibition presents craft across a variety of forms: sculpture, figurines, decorative bowls and plates, block-printed fabric, drawing & collage. From a single decorative plate depicting characterful scenes from Victorian life,  through to a room papered with life-affirming suns, this show is a dynamic exploration of how inventive minds inject joyful gestures into the everyday. Exhibition runs until Saturday 8 September.
