Contemporary British Silversmiths, the UK’s leading association for designer silversmiths, are joined by special guests from the Danske Sølvsmede (The Danish Silversmiths’ Association) and Georg Jensen. This event is supported by the Goldsmiths’ Company and the Embassy of Denmark. A public silver symposium will take place at the Royal College of Art in Battersea on the 6th May visit: www.silverspeaks.co.uk.

Different silversmiths will be demonstrating each day of the event, showcasing the breadth of skill and creativity of modern silversmiths. Attendees will also have the opportunity to view Silver Speaks: ‘Idea to Object’, a display curated for Contemporary British Silversmiths by journalist and design critic Corinne Julius. Alongside this display, visitors are able to view the latest commission by Junko Mori, for the Silver Trust that will end its journey at Number 10 Downing Street.
