HOSTEM Presents | The New Road Residence
In celebration of London Craft Week, Hostem will publicly open the doors to their curated guesthouse, The New Road Residence.
For the duration of Craft Week, visitors are invited to peruse the interior elements of the house showcasing furniture from Pierre Jeanneret, Lina Bo Bardi, Faye Toogood, Max Lamb, Christopher Howe and more… Also, selected pieces from Blackcreek Mercantile & Trading Co., J. & L. Lobmeyr, Once Milano and Haeckels, along with Parisian based lifestyle brand CristaSeya will be available to purchase.
CristaSeya will be presenting their latest body of work under the edition-based project entitled, ‘Tropidelico’. The presentation comprises a collection of jugs, which have each been transformed from their unadorned, initial finishes by a series of Artists, according to their individual whims. The jugs will be installed throughout the house along with garments from their Edition #08 for Spring Summer, entitled ‘Anaphi’.
Wisteria-clad and carefully refurbished, New Road is a 1797 Georgian townhouse that sprawls across approximately 2,851 square feet of open plan living areas and accommodation for up to six guests. Set within the intimacy of a private home, it is an immersive environment in which product and surroundings interweave seamlessly. New Road is the living, breathing culmination of Hostem’s ever-growing identity.
