Matthew Raw at Ragged School Museum
Artist Matthew Raw Exhibits a new body of his sculptural ceramic work at the Ragged School Museum in Mile End supported by the Arts Council England.
Entitled ‘Clad’, the exhibition explores our individual roles in the changing nature of the areas in which we live, touching on notions of perception, transience and the ‘handmade’. Raw made the eight new pieces at his studio, and transported them by canal barge on the Regent's Canal to the Museum. The exhibition is free to the public and open 4 - 14 May 2017.
