Bespoke Tailoring Masterclass: The Making of a Three Piece Suit
Gieves and Hawkes Head Cutter, Davide Taub, leads two masterclasses giving a unique insight into the cutting and tailoring process of three key womens and mens tailored pieces, the coat, waistcoat and trousers.
Devolving into his vast archive of bespoke commissions, Taub will demonstrate using examples while he discusses every nuance of bespoke from the initial client consultation up to completion. In each masterclass he'll tackle a new element that constitutes the three piece suit and unveil the tailoring challenges that a cutter can face. This three series masterclass will bring to life Savile Row tailoring, which so often takes place behind the scenes. Attendees will also receive a copy of the coffee table volume: The Invention of the English Gentleman published by Flammarion for Gieves & Hawkes and a glass of Gusbourne English Sparkling.
