The event takes place over a whole afternoon, with guests invited to watch the expert at work, covering and piping the CG Monte-Carlo chair in Altfield’s sumptuous Mylio fabric. The Monte-Carlo is a sleek occasional chair with a sweeping low back rest incorporating the signature CG Criss-Cross leg design. The frame is handcrafted from sustainably sourced mahogany, an extraordinarily strong and durable wood which, with careful treatment, can last a lifetime.
Christopher Guy creates extensive collections of exceptional furnishings, designed and expertly crafted in their Java ateliers. London Craftsmen Centre started with antique furniture restoration over 40 years ago and now have five workshops, offering furniture restoration, upholstery and curtain making.
The event is drop-in over the afternoon and has a capacity of 25 guests at any one time.
