Meet the makers behind the innovative brands of The Prince’s Trust Tomorrow Store. Learn about their craft and try something new in a variety of creative workshops, from candle making to print making.

The Prince’s Trust is delighted to be represented in this year’s London Craft Week by some of the extremely talented makers and creators it has supported. From contemporary textiles and homewares to handmade candles and fashion, discover an abundance of craft techniques employed across the work of these ambitious entrepreneurs.

Join them for the following workshops/demonstrations:

Silk Scarf Printing with Katie Charleston

Sat 11 and Sun 12 May, 2.30pm – 3.30pm

Booking necessary, 4 places per session, £15 for pocket square, £25 for silk scarf

Using a mixture of Katie Charleson's vibrant designs and your own stencils on screen, print your own silk scarf/pocket square in your choice of colours.

An Introduction to Soy Wax Candle Making with Melitarose

Fri 10 May, 12.30pm – 1.30pm, Sat 11 and
Sun 12 May, 3.30pm – 4.30pm

Booking necessary, 8 places per session, £30

Experiment with a selection of invigorating fragrance oils to create a bespoke scented candle, including personalised labelling and packaging.

Hand Building Ceramic Vessel with Motions of Clay

Sun 12 May, 12.30pm – 2.30pm

Booking necessary, 8 places, £15 - £25

An introduction to the ancient ceramic technique of coiling and pinching to make small vessels. Decorative ceramic slips are then used to add colour.

Leather Working with Grand Life London Bags

Sat 11 and Sun 12 May, 11.30am – 12.30pm

Booking necessary, 10 places per session, £20

Grand Life takes you through the leather working process, with the option to make either a coin purse or phone case using techniques such as hand sewing or weaving.

Knitwear Demonstration Drop-in with Study 34

Fri 10 May and Sat 11 May, 10am – 5pm

Gain insight into the manufacture of knitted fabrics and the construction of garments from Eleanor, founder of knitwear label STUDY 34. Drop in to see how machine knitted fabric is made and browse some of STUDY 34's classic knitwear styles

Headband Making Workshop with War & Drobe

Sat 11 May, 12.30pm – 2.30pm

The workshop will be led by Nina Kovacevic founder of sustainable fashion label War & Drobe. The fabrics we'll be crafting the headbands from during the class are all locally sourced from London by Nina or ethically produced from further afield.

Wall Hanging Demonstration with One Nine Eight Five

Join founder Eleanor Nadimi in an exciting series of wall hanging demonstrations and discover first hand this unique making process.
