About
Join Tanner Krolle in The Butterfly Room at Beaverbrook Town House for an exclusive, intimate event hosted by Creative Director, Tabitha Simmons. Ten guests will enjoy a private Japanese dining experience, whilst delving deep into the history and craftsmanship of British luxury travel trunks, before having the chance to personalise a leather gift of their choice.
Under the umbrella of Artisan Chelsea, local neighbours Beaverbrook Town House and Tanner Krolle have come together to present their first London Craft Week event and partnership.
Guests will be welcomed into the private dining room of Beaverbrook Town House with a cocktail to enjoy as they take in the unforgettable backdrop of exquisite Japanese butterfly prints that line the walls of the room. Following an introduction from Tabitha Simmons herself, the group will explore the craftsmanship, tradition and techniques behind Tanner Krolle’s exquisite trunks, cases and bags as the brand celebrates 165 years in the business.
Lunch is served in the form of authentic Japanese dishes, created in house by the team at The Fuji Grill: guests will enjoy an elegant set menu of flawless sushi, sashimi and nigiri, alongside Beaverbrook classics for a Chelsea dining experience with a twist.
The event will conclude with an interactive experience where guests will have the chance to learn the tricks of the trade. Using skills mastered by the Tanner Krolle team back in the 19th century, that have been adjusted and improved over time to remain in line with the standards of today, guests will be shown how to personalize their own Tanner Krolle leather goods to take home.
