Curator’s Tour: Ceramics and Glass
Join Danielle Thom, Curator of Making at the Museum of London, for a tour of the museum’s ceramics and glass collection and find out more about London’s ceramic history.
The Museum of London holds a vast and eclectic collection of ceramic and glass wares. This tour is an opportunity to go behind the scenes and view the storerooms, which are not normally open to the public. Covering everything from exquisite Chelsea porcelain figures and Doulton art pottery to the functional earthenware of everyday London life, the collection tells the story of craft, making and consumption in London, from the prehistoric to the contemporary.
