Join a unique mosaic workshop, with demonstrations of both traditional and modern methods, and help create a large-scale mosaic designed by award-winning designer Lisa Todd, to be gifted to charity. A light lunch/dinner is provided.

Discovering Mosaic Art is a unique workshop hosted by London School of Mosaic. Over a light lunch or dinner, hear a brief introductory talk about mosaic art (delivered by the renowned mosaicist Tessa Hunkin at the evening workshop, and by David Tootill, founder of London School of Mosaic, at the lunchtime workshop). This is followed by a demonstration of both traditional and contemporary mosaic-making techniques. Guided by our specialist tutors, guests can help to create a large-scale mosaic, designed by the award-winning designer Lisa Todd. The completed mosaic will be gifted to charity.

No prior experience of mosaic making and no artistic skills are necessary to participate in this event.

London School of Mosaic is an independent art school that teaches mosaic art to people of all ages (from children to adults). The school delivers specialist short courses, bespoke workshops and a Diploma and BA in Mosaic Studies, the first of its kind in the UK.
