Engraving and Enamelling Demonstration with Harry Forster-Stringer

Harry Forster-Stringer is a goldsmith, engraver and enameller. He is also a teacher at the Goldsmith’s Centre, The Hand Engraving Association, The Enamellers Guild, and is a former QEST scholar.
The demonstration showcases the intricate processes involved in producing one of his outstanding pieces of work. From hand engraving of silver and gold to preparation and application of the enamel and firing in the kiln, gain an understanding of a craft which lies at the intersection between art and science.
The demonstration takes place in the surroundings of D. R. Harris’s Victorian apothecary, where a number of Harry’s works are on display, followed by a Q&A. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Cancer Research UK.
