About
Leading British designer of luxury womenswear, Anna Mason London, have partnered with pioneering fabric resale platform Haines Collection to present a lampshade making and fabric upcycling workshop led by Anna Mason & Jules Haines, using offcuts from Anna Mason’s fashion collections.
Anna Mason London is a leading British designer of luxury womenswear. Having completed her MA at the Royal College of Art, Anna held prestigious design roles at Karl Lagerfeld in Paris, Max Mara and Valentino. She returned to London and released her first collection under her own name in 2012. Anna was inspired to start her label after making pieces for herself that made women stop her in the street and ask where she had bought them. With the needs of the modern woman and her real-life situations, Anna Mason clothes are ‘go-to’ wardrobe favourites and are worn by style-loving woman everywhere.
The clothes are the very opposite of disposable fashion, designed to be loved and kept, with distinct directional silhouettes and a preference for British-sourced fabrics. Stock is carefully controlled and ‘sale culture’ avoided, with sustainability a core value and guiding working practice. In the Anna Mason London design atelier, experience the hands-on craft of design, pattern cutting and handwork processes that go into Anna Mason made-to-order garments.
Haines Collection is a pioneering resale platform providing a solution to the environmental challenges facing the interiors industry today. Both brands seek to make positive changes to reduce the negative impact of their respective industries.
