John Smedley blurs the lines between art and craft through a new limited-edition collection in collaboration with Intoart.

Intoart is a pioneering visual arts organisation, located in the heart of Peckham, championing its founding vision for people with learning disabilities to be visible, equal and established artists and designers. Their full-time studio programme is an alternative art school for people with learning disabilities to develop a long-term creative practice. They have realised exhibitions and commissions with contemporary art galleries and museums in the UK and internationally.

A John Smedley garment is the culmination of many skilled hands, meticulously crafted to transcend seasons and generations. Through this collaboration, follow the John Smedley production line through several key processes, speaking to the craftspeople involved. From Lea Mills, journey to Peckham, where the garments are adorned with the creative visions of three pioneering Intoart artists — Christian Ovonlen, Lisa Contucci and Mawuena Kattah.
