Exhibition, booking not necessary, free
The British Ceramics Biennial and sponsor Johnson Tiles present (UN)WOVEN, an exploratory and material-specific presentation of 2017 AWARD-winning artist Tana West at Material Lab. They also announce new developments and opportunities for the BCB's headline exhibition AWARD.
(UN)WOVEN comprises an ongoing investigation into the barriers and divisions across Europe, both real and perceived, and what this means in the context of Brexit. The installation features two works; Pavers and Hard Boarder, containing clayey soil sent from different places around Europe, exhibited in the UK's finest design resource and materials library.
During London Craft Week, the BCB and Johnson Tiles also announce new and exciting developments for the up-and-coming headline AWARD exhibition at the BCB 2019, which celebrates the tenth year of supporting the growing and dynamic field of UK ceramics.
(UN)WOVEN continues until Thursday 7 June.
