The Odd Chair Company’s Design Director James Cook leads a breakfast talk on the history of furniture making, as the company celebrates 50 years of hand-making furniture and crafted upholstery.
Celebrating 50 years of hand-making furniture and crafted upholstery, this family-run business prides itself on making fine, sustainable and comfortable furniture, offering clients an exceptional service from start to finish. The furniture is made passionately by time-served craftsmen at their own workshops in the North West of England, drawing upon 100 years of cabinet making and upholstery knowledge. Due to their frames being made from solid timber of the highest quality, each dowelled, glued, screwed and corner blocked, they’re able to guarantee them for 40 years, thus creating sustainable handmade pieces built to last a lifetime.
