Meissen celebrates the craftsmanship behind its pieces with a collaborative afternoon tea experience in the Oscar Wilde Lounge at Hotel Café Royal. Enjoy The Queen of Afternoon Teas, served with Meissen tableware and accompanied by over 25 tea blends and infusions, fine champagnes and a live pianist.

Experience the story of Meissen’s dedication to preserving tradition while striving for the new, harmonising the past and the present. The Queen of Afternoon Teas is a traditional British afternoon tea, served with Meissen tableware and accompanied by a handpicked selection of over 25 exclusive tea blends and infusions, fine champagnes and a live pianist.

As the oldest porcelain manufactory in Europe, founded in 1710 by August the Strong, Meissen's service, sculptures and objects have always been trendsetting. Their worldwide reputation is based on their technical expertise and long artistic tradition. In each epoch, the Meissen manufactory generated some of the most important porcelain artists of their time, whose masterpieces are still to this day created by hand in the working spaces of the factory.
