Visit Ray Stitch Haberdashery & Sewing School and take part in an array of creative workshops, with a focus on stitch and textiles. Join Forest + Found, Richard McVetis, Julie Arkell and others.

Created by Rachel Hart, an avid ‘maker’ of all things, fabric shop Ray Stitch was borne out of the desire to find good quality fabrics and all the necessary tools and accessories in a one-stop shop.

The demise of the high street haberdashery shop – traditionally the place where a sewer could spend an enjoyable hour carefully choosing the bits and pieces for a planned project – drove her to create a modern version of the very same. Along with the vast choice of fabric, there is a diverse workshop programme offering classes to appeal to those at any level. A team of expert sewing teachers and guest practising artists can guide you and inspire you towards becoming confident in your chosen craft.

This hub of creativity in the heart of North London offers classes in Machine Sewing, Dressmaking, Pattern Cutting and Creative Hand Stitching, as well as hosting monthly events and Q&A discussions with interesting local businesses & craftspeople.
