MADEINBRITALY showcases contemporary applied arts from Italy and Great Britain. The gallery aims to revive the connection between two nations that sought a synthesis between aesthetic value and the industrial production of manufactured goods. MADEINBRITALY gallery pursues two main themes: one purely decorative, including unique pieces or very limited editions by contemporary artists and designer-makers, the other focusing on exquisite objects of use created by excellent manufacturers. In addition to exhibiting artworks by established artists, the gallery is also an experimental platform for emerging artists and makers, including a variety of media – from ceramic and glass to wood and textiles. It is located within the elegant surroundings of Warwick Avenue, a short stroll from Little Venice.
