The Magic of Materials at Taylor Howes
Silverlining creates furniture and artworks for yachts, residences and aircraft. They source materials with history, from 3,000-year-old bog oak to leather salvaged from a 1786 shipwreck. Drop by and discover the magic of materials and how traditional hand skills and modern technologies are redefining what craftsmanship is today.
About
Silverlining creates furniture and artworks for yachts, residences and aircraft worldwide. They source materials with history, from 3,000–year–old bog oak dug out of the ground to leather salvaged from a ship that sank in 1786.
Silverlining believes in merging the ideas of the designer and the hand skills of the maker, and then combining them with scientific discoveries and advanced manufacturing to push the boundaries of 21st-century craftsmanship.
Drop by their open-house event as they showcase the magic of materials and how traditional hand skills and modern technologies are redefining what craftsmanship is today. The open house is held at Taylor Howes Design, celebrating 30 years in the world of design.
