Exploring this theme for London Craft Week 2023, Bentleys has invited MacGregor & Michael to take up residency in the shop, where they are hand-making two leather cases designed for a sojourn by rail. Visitors have a front-row seat for the production process and the opportunity to chat one-on-one with the craftspeople, who share their knowledge of leatherwork without hesitation.

Bentleys has chosen an English Oak Bark tanned cowhide sourced from J&FJ Baker & Co’s tannery in Devon for the Train collection: a modern zipped overnight bag and a traditional travel folio.

Both items are available to purchase in the shop, alongside handmade bags, belts and accessories from the MacGregor & Michael range.

You can also learn to hand-stitch your own luggage tag or card case at the in-house workshops that Neil and Valerie teach. Booking essential — experience not!
