Jeweller Ruth Tomlinson combines traditional craft and contemporary design. Join her alongside Vanity Fair’s On Jewellery Editor Annabel Davidson, Grant Gibson and Janice Hosegood, for a discussion on the complexities of luxury craft and commercial jewellery design, tour the workshop and view a retrospective of Ruth’s work.

Drawn to the Earth's natural treasures; designer Ruth Tomlinson is renowned for her celebration of unconventional beauty; creating ethereal, wearable treasures in minute detail that draw the eye in with a sense of discovery and wonder. Join her from Wednesday 8th - Sunday 12th March, at her newly appointed atelier in the heart of Hatton Garden, for a captivating retrospective of her work spanning two decades of design. Each piece exhibited is entirely unique and defined by their wearable beauty, purposeful imperfections and tiny granular intricacies. Alongside her ready-to-wear collections, Tomlinson celebrates the lifecycle of jewellery, redefining treasured heirlooms and remastering preloved pieces into entirely personal talismans.

Join Ruth daily at 12:00 pm for an intimate tour of the exhibition and atelier, as she narrates and guides you through her design journey to date and offers an exclusive voyeur into her inspiration and process as well as a tour of her newly appointed atelier, including on-site studio, where each jewel is imagined and crafted entirely by hand.

Tickets for the daily tours are limited. Ruth Tomlinson is proud to be donating the proceeds of this event to Bishopsland Educational Trust.

As a craftsperson who walks the fine line between creative designer-maker and commercial businesswoman, Ruth Tomlinson pairs traditional craft with commercial credibility. Join Ruth and guests Grant Gibson, editor, writer and founder of podcast 'Material Matters'; Annabel Davidson, editor of Vanity Fair 'On Jewellery'; and Janice Hosegood, Head Of Communications at Cockpit Arts, on Saturday 11th May from 12:00 pm - 2:00pm as they explore the complex relationship between luxury craft and commercial fine jewellery design.

Guests will also enjoy a first-hand account of Ruth's retrospective exhibition curated especially for London Craft Week, a personal tour of her newly appointed atelier and champagne reception hosted by Champagne Gosset, with light refreshments.

Tickets to this exciting panel discussion are limited. Ruth Tomlinson is proud to be donating a portion of the proceeds to Cockpit Arts, the UK's only creative business incubator for craftspeople.
