Unloved to Luxury: Rescued Leather Workshop with Elvis & Kresse
Transform rescued leather into luxury for your home with Elvis & Kresse, hosted by The Room Service. Meet the founders and learn more about their sustainable luxury journey and partnership with the Burberry Foundation. Be inspired and make a beautiful piece to treasure forever.
This year, The Room Service – the online concept store sourcing and selling beautiful craft ‘as seen at’ hotels and restaurants – is championing sustainability by hosting an interactive workshop with award-winning sustainable luxury brand Elvis & Kresse.
Join them at the Plain English showroom in Marylebone for an evening of transforming rescued leather donated to Elvis & Kresse by iconic British brand Burberry into something luxurious for your home that you can treasure forever.
During a two-hour workshop, learn how Elvis & Kresse hand weave rescued leather to create statement pieces, with the choice of making anything from a set of leather placemats or coasters, a table runner or a small rug to take home and keep.
This intimate workshop also offers the opportunity to meet the founders of Elvis & Kresse and learn about their sustainable luxury journey, their partnership with the Burberry Foundation, what they are doing to change the world and why they are doing it.
There will also be drinks & nibbles to keep you refreshed while you are crafting your masterpieces, served in tableware made by a selection of craftsmen represented on The Room Service such as Jane Crisp, rush-weaver Felicity Irons and ceramicist Barton Croft.
Come along, make something beautiful and be inspired.
