The Soluna Art Group, a leading craft-focused gallery in Seoul, presents two exhibitions for London Craft Week, both of which shine a light on some of Korea’s most exciting craftspeople working today.

‘Mind, Hand and Time’ at Cromwell Place exhibits works by Dahye Jeong, winner of the Loewe Foundation Craft Prize 2022.

Inspired by traditional Korean headwear, Dahye works with horsehair, weaving this ancient material into delicate, transparent vessels. The jury for the Loewe Foundation Craft Prize unanimously selected her work because of its sensitivity and astonishing finesse.

‘Light of Weaving: Labour-Hand-Hours’ features exceptional works by leading Korean craft artists, centred around the theme of weaving. This exhibition at the Korean Culture Centre UK has been carefully curated, juxtaposing materials such as bamboo, wood and glass to play with light, tone and silhouette.
