Anne McKenzie is a Botanic Calligrapher who combines the observational skills of Botanic Art with the expressive brushwork of Calligraphy.
Using pigments on handmade Japanese paper Anne has brushed banners depicting centuries old Sicilian olive trees – Secolare. The intention is to highlight the social and ecological importance of ‘veteran’ trees.
