Daniel the Gardener specialises in freehand botanical tattoos and is the in-resident tattooist at Parliament, the renowned London tattoo studio. His intricate freehand-drawn tattoos are characterised by monochrome floral and botanical motifs, each one a transformative composition that is deeply personal to the client.

For London Craft Week, Daniel has taken inspiration from the William Morris Gallery’s collection of original drawings, wallpaper and textiles to create a unique design, to be tattooed live in the Gallery. Like Morris, Daniel takes endless inspiration from the beautiful flower and leaf shapes found in nature, but rather than applying them to the flat surfaces of walls and furniture, Daniel expertly applies them to the shapes and contours of the human body.
