Felizia Berchtold portrait

Felizia Berchtold

Felizia Berchtold creates and curates materials, objects and spaces.

As a designer across product, interior and textile, her cross-disciplinary and multi-material insight shapes her approach. With many of her visual references influenced by a passion for art and craft, her work combines extensive cultural and historical research, with a creational focus on material, colour and tactility.

Growing up in the south of Germany on the edge of the Black Forest, Felizia pursued her design education in Hamburg and, in 2018, left for London to study an MA in Weave at the Royal College of Art.

Felizia’s curiosity into humans, history and materials, paired with a strong visual sensibility, has shaped her work and thinking towards the spaces we live in and the objects we surround ourselves with.
