Jane Smith

Jane Smith started making hats for theatre and film in 1968, and works in felt, straw, buckram, plastic and fabric in her London studio. A leading figure in theatrical millinery, she makes uniform caps and hats, naval bicornes, chapeau bras, top hats and many more. Her work features widely in television, film and theatre.

Current films her hats can be seen in are 'All is True', 'Stan and Ollie', 'Tulip Fever', and 'Darkest Hour' and on stage - 'Warhorse', 'The Importance of Bring Ernest' and Noel Cowards 'A Song at Twilight' at the Theatre Royal, Bath.
