About
Junko Mori was born in Yokohama, Japan and now lives and works in rural Wales. She studied at Musashino Art University in Tokyo and at Camberwell College of Arts in London.
The repetition of multiple forged units in steel or silver form the basis to the aesthetic of Mori’s dynamic sculptures. Distilling observations of the natural world, she translates their essence to create works of unbelievable complexity and beauty..
