About
Kendall Clarke is an award-winning artist who uses experimental hand weaving with painting and erasure to produce complex works exploring precarity and survival. Many of her pieces incorporate piercings, apertures or gaps which create a dynamic play of light and shadow. Her work is characterised by fineness and detail, and is informed by a subtle aesthetic, influenced by the simple beauty of Japanese crafts.
Kendall is part of the Cockpit Collective, presenting ‘Textile + Surface’ at The Future of Craft, Oxo Tower Wharf for London Craft Week.
