Kirsty is an award-winning ceramicist, having first trained on the potter’s wheel in Japan. She now works from her studio in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Using a combination of porcelain, stoneware, copper and rutile, Kirsty’s Icelandic pieces express the ‘otherworldliness’ of the visceral, volcanic landscapes. Her current shoreline collection takes inspiration from the Northumberland coastline.
