About
Max Bainbridge’s exploration of the living tree is rooted in the physicality of the embodied vessel and carved object. He seeks to create artefacts where cultural narratives and identity are challenged and re-written through the physical act of making and psychological exploration of the natural world.
Bainbridge’s work has been exhibited extensively, including at the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford, Yorkshire Sculpture Park and the Ruthin Crafts Centre, Wales.
Bainbridge’s works will be on display at the Takumi Townhouse from 4-10 October. For any sales inquiries, please contact Sarah Myerscough Gallery directly.
