Based in East Sussex, Molly Mahon is a British printmaker passionate about the art of block printing, whose designs are applied to a range of fabrics, wallpapers, homewares and accessories. She works on residential and commercial projects worldwide and is fast becoming the ‘go to’ designer for colour and pattern. With her love of home always in her mind, she designs pieces to enhance interiors and create charming, joyful spaces.

“My work tends to spring from three main areas of inspiration. The fabulous colours and ‘thud-thud’ sound of the block in Jaipur, the palettes and shapes I find in nature, and the decorative style of Vanessa Bell (a key member of the Bloomsbury Group) in her home at Charleston Farmhouse”.

As well as Molly’s textile business, she runs introductory block printing workshops across the UK, working with inspiring venues, encouraging creativity and sharing her love for colour and pattern. Her first book ‘House of Print’ was published by Pavilion books in 2020 and fabrics and wallpapers are now available in the US, Canada and Australia with Schumacher .
