Naine Woodrow

Naine returned to London in 1978 after a 3 year apprenticeship in Japan, founding the North Street Potters, a busy and vibrant urban pottery which has become synonymous with high quality and imagination delivered within the framework of a solid community ethos.

North Street Potters is greatly appreciated by the number of top London chefs who come regularly along, with very enthusiastic customers of many years. The community engagement and Naine’s passion for art and craft in the community is evident in the very successful project, Clapham Pottery which she runs just around the corner.

The influence of Japan is still very strong in all her shapes but she has a great love of colour and contrast.
