Silverlining is a British furniture maker, coveted across the globe for its work at the nexus of design, craft and technology.
Olivia Dean is a key member of the leather department and has worked for the company for 3 years. Having graduated in 2018, Olivia joined with a degree in Textiles in Practice.
With her training and understanding of design, Olivia has become a key part in developing inhouse leather objects, the first of which will be displayed at their ‘Innovation in Craft’ exhibition running throughout LCW.
The Innovation in Craft Exhibition will showcase Silverlining’s latest progressive ideas, craftsmanship and finishes in furniture through hand sketches and jewel-like material and finish samples. The exhibition will showcase their recent ‘Provenance’ Collection and new ‘Enriched Sensibilities’ Collection.
There will also be ‘Meet the Maker’ demonstrations on 3 days during the event. To see Olivia demonstrate some of the skills used in Silverlining’s workshops visit us them on Tuesday 5th Oct – 11:00-12:30 & 14:00-15:30.
