Inspired by the ever-changing colour and light within the landscape, Rachel creates abstract, linear compositions on a clay canvas. Working two dimensionally Rachel applies layers of ceramics slips onto finely rolled clay slabs, the vessels are finely assembled to create simple cylindrical forms.
