About
Rachel is a hand bookbinder and Fellow of Designer Bookbinders.
From her bindery in Lewes she produces individual pieces using traditional and contemporary bookbinding techniques and materials. Texture, both natural and manufactured, has been a recurring influence on her work. Recently she has been concentrating on this element of design, creating bindings using found objects to impress into, or print onto, the surface of leather.
