Rakhee Shenoy specialises in textiles for interior spaces, with a background in multidisciplinary textiles and experience in the industry, in UK and India. Her work lays focus on ethical and Eco-conscious production of textiles with local artisans. She is currently working as a design consultant and Visiting faculty at Srishti Manipal Institute, India and has set up her own design studio.

Rakhee’s latest project focuses on reducing textile waste during the sampling process, by using yarn that is unclaimed and left behind with the artisans and dyers due to the pandemic. These yarns are used to make unique hand tufted pieces, creating designs according to the colours and materials available.
