Rebecca Proctor’s work celebrates the simple pleasures of home and brings together form and natural materials to create strong and elegant ceramics. Each pot is inspired by the traditions of country pottery, yet is wholeheartedly modern.
Her craft offers connection to the landscape of North Cornwall, a beautiful location where coast meets countryside steeped in pottery tradition. There are rich natural resources nearby, with glaze materials gathered locally and clay sourced from a small family-owned Cornish quarry.
Rebecca specialises in wheel thrown tableware with a warm character. She also employs hand-building techniques when the fancy strikes. Many of the pieces are created for some of Britain’s finest restaurants, as well as being found in beautiful homes around the world.
