About
Sarah is a pattern maker, natural dyer and printer. She studied Textile Design at Chelsea College of Art and is the author of ‘Barron & Larcher’ Textile Designers.
Her workshop in the South Downs pioneers a kinder, slower way of making textiles that restores nature as well as making beautiful fabrics for the home. Her hand block printed fabric collection is inspired by natural, seasonal patterns and materials and the places near where she works on the South Downs.
By reviving ancient crafts like natural dyeing and block printing Sarah’s fabrics help reconnect to the passing seasons and the wonder and beauty of the natural world.
A founder member of the Makers Tales Collective, … will be taking part in the discussion panel “Celebrating the beauty of imperfection” with Grace McCloud (The World Of Interiors) on the 6th October.
