Silverlining is a British furniture maker, coveted across the globe for its work at the nexus of design, craft and technology.
Tom joined their making team in 2018 having completed a Diploma in Furniture Making & Design at Moulton College.
Tom says “Silverlining are at the forefront of furniture making and are always innovating. It’s that innovation that provides me the opportunity to work with a wide range of materials and constantly be learning new processes and techniques.”
The Innovation in Craft Exhibition will showcase Silverlining’s latest progressive ideas, craftsmanship and finishes in furniture through hand sketches and jewel-like material and finish samples. The exhibition will showcase our recent ‘Provenance’ Collection and new ‘Enriched Sensibilities’ Collection.
There will also be ‘Meet the Maker’ demonstrations on 3 days during the event. To see Tom demonstrate some of the skills used in Silverlining’s workshops visit them on Thursday 7th Oct – 11:00-12:30 & 14:00-15:30.
