About

Wayne Meeten is an internationally-acclaimed maker whose extraordinary hammer work in Gold, Silver and Japanese Alloys starts as a flat sheet, which is then meticulously raised into stunning autonomous forms full of energy and movement.

Meeten was born in Brighton and took an apprenticeship in the city’s famous lanes, subsequently studying at the Sir John Cass School of Art, Architecture and Design and Tokyo University of the Arts. He currently resides in London and Devon.
